Social Addicts is a small personal animation about modern disconnection. In the scene, a group of friends sits together at a table, but only one of them tries to start a real conversation. The others are completely absorbed in their phones, lifting their heads for just a second before returning to their screens.

The piece reflects on how social media can take so much of our attention that it affects real, everyday moments. Inspired by a playful, animated style, this project was created with affection for all the non-technological friends who often feel alone in the middle of a group.
